Abraxas High School was built in 1978.

Projects planned at Abraxas include:

• Utility upgrade/efficiency improvements
• Renovate/upgrade restrooms as needed
• Add science laboratories and art room
• Expand/renovate library
• Renovate staff work area
• Modernize classrooms
• ADA upgrades/compliance
• Replace shade/lunch structures
• Add/upgrade furniture and instructional equipment
• Upgrade/replace communications and fire alarm systems

Please check back for updates and more information about this project as we get closer to the Construction and Modernization start date.

Project Plans are under review by the State Architect.  Final approval expected in February/March 2007
