Student Council Information
Advisors: Stephanie Carriero and Laura McGarry
Student Council Offices: President; Vice-President; Secretary; Treasurer; Commissioner of Spirit.
Classroom Representatives: One representative and one alternate are selected from each 3-5 classroom.
Responsibilities of Officers and Classroom Representatives:
* Attends Student Council meetings.
* Brings ideas and suggestions from class members to the meetings.
* Reports information back to his/her own class as well as assigned K-2
classrooms.
* Leads the Pledge of Allegiance at school-wide assemblies.
* Helps with the development of projects for Student Council and the
school.
* Fundraising
* Helps promote school pride: Friday Spirit Days.
* Serves as a role model to all Valley citizens by being safe, friendly,
and respectful.
Meetings are held every 2nd Tuesday of the month.
