Yearbooks
Have you ordered your yearbook yet? Order before December 12th and save! The cost now is $20 each. After Friday, December 12th, the price will increase to $25.
New this year is the opportunity to personalize
the front cover of your yearbook with your child’s name. For an additional $6, you can
permanently and attractively emboss your student's name as an extra touch. This is a time limited offer, as
we need to have these personalizations in the ordering process by January 16th. After that time personalization will no longer be available.
If you'd like to purchase a yearbook, please print out the order form
and return it to school with your payment. The yearbook is sponsored by the Tierra Bonita PTA.
Got New Books?
Tierra Bonita's Library needs your help in getting some new books for our students. On the front gate you will find a poster with pictures of books our Library would love to have.
If you would like to purchase one of these books, simply take the picture of the book from the poster (they are all marked with how much the book will cost), place a check (made out to TBES) or cash in an envelope and bring it to the front office or Library. It's that simple.
Feel free to buy as many as you would like. Mrs. Hamilton, our fabulous TBES librarian thanks you.
Batter Up! Cookbook
Orders are being accepted for the Batter Up! cookbook benefitting Poway High student Alexis Johnson, who is battling osteosarcoma (bone cancer).
Lexie is the daughter of long-time PHS pitching coach Dom Johnson and the sister of Tierra Bonita student Maris Johnson.
These beautiful books will arrive in time to make the perfect gifts for the holidays and include 300 tasty recipes, cover art by Poway resident and MLB pitcher Brett Tomko, and a special section of recipes from MLB wives.

Mr. Erpelding is hosting a Principal's Book Club on 4 evenings over the next several months. We will be discussing the book Parenting
with Love and Logic by Foster Cline and Jim Fay, beginning at 6:30pm in the LRC (Library). If you order the book at amazon, don't forget to click
through the link at GoodShop.com and earn money for Tierra Bonita.

California Standards Test
Did you know that our 2nd through 5th graders take state mandated tests every spring? You can find more information on standardized testing from the
California Department of Education's STAR page. The results from these tests determine
a school's API. CDE has also released test questions from the 2003-2007 California
Standards Test.
