What does the Foundation do?

The Foundation raises money to provide funds to purchase needed educational materials and equipment, such as:

  • document cameras and projectors for every classroom

  • laserjet printers to support all teachers

  • installation of state-of-the-art interactive whiteboard

  • continued support of the mobile computer lab

Why have a Foundation?

With tight budget constraints, schools need to work with the community for desperately needed funds.

Many businesses and community members are willing to help out schools through various programs.  We need to take advantage of these resources.

How will the Foundation raise funds?

The Foundation will work hard to carefully choose its fundraisers so as to not diminish the intent and benefits of Hassle-Free Fundraising, and will always be on the lookout for new fundraisers.

Some planned/possible fundraisers are:

  • April 18, 2008                      Parent's Night Out

  • late May, 2008                    Art Auction

  • Ongoing Programs                 Albertson's, Vons, and Ralph's Club Cards
                                             eScript
                                             Otter Cafe
