Regular Textbook Window Hours are:
• Before school, at break and after
school from 2:30 until 2:40 pm (Not during
Lunch)
• English teachers may bring their classes
to exchange text books on Monday and Friday.
Tuesday is a teacher self-service checkout
day. (See Frances for training.)
• The textbook room will be closed to
classes on Wednesday and Thursday, but open
on those days to individuals before and after
school (2:25 pm) and during break.
Due to the state's budget crisis, the School
and Library Improvement Program allocation
for library books ($20,000) and for supplementary
library staffing ($30,000) for increased service
to classes, and for extended hours was cancelled
in June 2008.
As a result of the funding crisis, library
hours before and after school have had to
be reduced compared to last spring. Thanks
to an allocation from the RBHS Friends
of the Library for staffing, we will
be able to serve 3 classes at a time rather
than 2 on Monday and Tuesdays. The Library
will continue to serve two classes at a time
Wednesdays through Fridays. Thank you for
your continued support as we strive to provide
the best service we can during these most
challenging times of fiscal restraint..
