Dear Park Village Parent,
Wow… it’s hard to believe summer is coming to an end, and school is just around the corner! Our PTA has been working hard this summer to plan exciting events and programs for the 2009-2010 school year!
DID YOU KNOW? Our PTA promotes the welfare and education of our children at home, school, and our community by funding and supporting the following programs and services:
- Assemblies (100% of cost)

- Literacy Support – Penguin Pals

- Character Counts! Education
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
- School Beautification Projects
|
|
|
|
|
DID YOU KNOW? All of these programs and services are funded entirely through family donations and our PTA fundraisers, such as:

- Fall Scholastic Book Fair
|
|
- Grocery Club Card Kickbacks
|
- Restaurant/Book Store Night
|
|
|
Last year, our PTA spent approximately $75 per student on programs and services that directly benefitted our children and school. Our goal is to continue providing these programs and services, but WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT, especially in light of the significant state education budget crisis!
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
- Become a PTA member for only $8.00 per adult
- Make a tax deductible donation to the Park Village Elementary PTA
- ParTicipAte in our fundraisers and/or Opt Out Donation Program
- Become a volunteer
Keep an eye out for our EFLAS to learn more about our fundraising efforts and the programs and services we will be providing this year. We look forward to seeing you at our annual Popcicle Posting on August 19th at 4:00 p.m.
