3rd GRADE SCHOOL SUPPLIES

Dear Parents,

In order to help you shop the sales and be prepared for the first day of school, the third grade teachers have composed a list of recommended supplies for the 2009-2010 school year.  Please consult this list to ensure that your child has the proper supplies.  Individual teachers may also be asking for replenishment of some supplies during the year.  Trapper Keepers and spiral notebooks will not be needed.

        1 Large box tissue
        4 Dozen #2 pencils  (Not Eagle, Papermate, or decorative style brands, please)
        1 Box 24 Crayola crayons
        1 Box 24 Crayola colored pencils
        5 Jumbo (Elmer's or Scotch brand) glue sticks
        1 Bottle All Purpose Elmer's glue 
        1 Fiskars scissors (student size with pointed tip)
        1 Box broad-tip Crayola markers
        1 Metric/customary wooden ruler
        1 Four-pack highlighters
        1 Package pink Pearl erasers (No pencil top erasers)
        1 Package low-odor Expo whiteboard markers (Variety of colors)
        1 Package red ballpoint pens for correcting
        1 Package Papermate black erasable pens
        4 Reams wide-ruled notebook paper
        1 Ream white cardstock
        1 Ream colored copy paper
        Vinyl or cloth pencil pouch
        1 EXTRA-fine black Sharpie marker

 

Wish List to help with supplies: 

* Gift cards to...

Wal-mart, Target, Office Depot, Staples, JoAnn's, Michael's or Costco

* Astrobright copy paper or card stock

*Ziplock bags (any size)

 

Please do not send any notebooks, binders, or pencil boxes.  All items (except scissors) are being donated to our classroom "community," and will be shared among students throughout the year.  Each teacher may have additional items, and will notify you at the beginning of the year!
