Tomorrow, Friday, May 9th is the last day to get your Cartridges for Kids items turned in for the current contest. The classroom that recycles the most cell phones, empty ink jet cartridges, CDs, and video games, will win $50 for their classroom! Recycle bags and a list of all eligible items are in the office.

Tickets are now on sale for "A Country Affair". Our event is June 8th, from noon-5:00pm at the Miramar Officers' Club. Tickets are only $25 each which includes a fabulous Mexican food buffet, our Live Auction of amazing classroom baskets, and the silent auction full of great items from our Community. Please invite your friends, family, and neighbors for an afternoon of adult fun, supporting our terrific school and staff! If you cannot attend, you may purchase tickets for the cash "Opportunity Drawing", 6 tickets are only $10. We also encourage you to "Fund-a-Need". These donations will be applied towards instructional supplies and materials due to the impending budget cuts.

Each classroom has an "Auction Coordinator" who has been busy organizing and constructing these amazing baskets that represent each of your child's classroom. Please help them out by getting to them either a small monetary donation or specific items which matches the theme of your basket!

Next Wednesday, May 14th is recycle day. Please bring your presorted glass, plastic, and aluminum to the flagpole. Recycle trucks will be on campus to pick up our cans, bottles, and jugs, which earns us cash for our school!
