For those of you that have always wondered about the Highland Ranch PTA, here is a PTA Primer for you to enjoy!

What does joining the PTA entail?
Joining the PTA is as simple as donating money to the PTA. You may also volunteer and attend monthly meetings, however this is not required.

Who can join the PTA?

Anyone!! Grandparents, friends, or neighbors may join, and monies given are typically tax-deductible.

Why join the PTA?

The PTA is responsible for everyday things around Highland Ranch. Has your child ever brought home a masterpiece from art class? The PTA pays for our schools wonderful art teacher. Have you seen Highland Ranch T-shirts? Thank your PTA! Movie nights, carnivals, after school treats are all thanks to the hard work of the PTA. Your PTA president spends an average of 20 hours per week donating her time for the good of our school. This newsletter is produced by the PTA, as well as PTA Corner, found on the Highland Ranch website.

How do I volunteer my time?

First, read the volunteer packet posted on the "Volunteers" page. Then, come to a PTA meeting! Also, you may stop by the PTA room for additional information.
