Founded in 2000, the Creekside Educational Foundation (CEF) is a successful 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID# 33-0926538) comprised of parents, teachers, and administrators.

CEF is dedicated to providing additional educational resources to students and teachers at Creekside.

Our web site's purpose is to meet the needs of the Foundation and to help parents, teachers, administrators and others to more effectively find the information they need regarding Foundation news, plans, and needs.

Welcome back Creekside!

The members of the Creekside Educational Foundation hope you had a fun filled, safe summer vacation and we look forward to having you participate in our 2009-2010 events that benefit Creekside. This year we are kicking off the new school year with a new CEF offering, The Creekside Calendar. Not only does this calendar have treasured pictures of the Creekside school campus, but it also has those important Creekside event dates such as picture day, vacations, PTA and CEF events. The calendar will be available for purchase for a nominal fee of $10 at both the classroom posting night on August 18th, as well as at the weekly Friday Flags.

Last year was a fantastic year with a mix of the traditional Dinner/Auction fundraiser (formally known as Monte Carlo Night) plus some new events such as Creepside Haunted House and the incredibly popular Spelling Bee. These special events were complimented by the weekly sales of Hot Chocolate, Coffee and Orange Juice at Friday Flag, Cub Scouts recycling and last but not least, eScrip donations through Vons and the Safeway companies.

This year the creative team of volunteer parents on the Creekside Educational Board are thinking of new and exciting events. If youd like to help out by volunteering for some of the open CEF positions or have some intriguing fundraising ideas that you would like to lead on behalf of the CEF, please reach out to any of the members listed on the web site via e-mail or on-campus during drop off, pick-up or classroom volunteer hours. In addition, the CEF meets once a month for about 45 minutes on the 3rd Friday at 7:35am in the teachers lounge.
