I teach in the PEPP
program and I will have the Big Macs this year. This will
be my 6th year at Creekside including one
year as a long term sub. I grew up in the LA area and moved here to
go to UCSD and have been here ever since. In my spare time I like to
read and go to the beach.
|
I have taught Kindergarten for three years. Previous to
that, I was a Reading Specialist and a Resource Specialist. I
love to read anywhere, especially the beach! My favorite thing to do
is to spend time with my husband, Joe, our daughter, Betsy, 23, and son,
Jeff, 17.
|
My
husband, AJ, is originally from San Diego
and had always wanted to move back, so, 3 years ago we moved here from
Virginia.
I taught kindergarten at Turtleback one
year and two at Highland Ranch. I have 3 awesome kids; Brianna (4th
grade) Kaylee (2nd
grade) and Brady (he just turned ONE!) I am very excited to join you
all!

I have
been teaching for 7 years. I taught first grade for 2 years, K-1 for two
years, the PEPP program for 1 year, and kindergarten for three years. This year
is my first year teaching Reading Recovery. My favorite things to do
are to spend time with my family, the outdoors, including running and
reading on the beach. I have four wonderful children; Katie, Mallory, Kelsie and Brooks (my favorite people!), and they range
from ages 18-24.
|
I have
been teaching for 6 years. I taught 1st grade for 5 years in the Bay
Area. When we moved to San Diego last
year I was hired to teach a K-1 at
Turtleback Elementary
School. I live with my husband and two
children (Nate, 12 and Courtney, 8) in Rancho
Bernardo. When I'm not at school you can find me watching my kids
play sports or hanging out with my family. My family loves to go on
extreme hiking vacations, especially when a swimming hole is involved!
|
I was
born in Mexico City and moved to San Diego in my early
childhood. I consider myself a "native" and graduated from
SDSU. I have a masters in Educational
Technology and a background in nursing. I currently teach Kindergarten
but have also taught 1st, 3rd and 4th grades. I am the proud
mother of 3 wonderful grown children David (28) an art director for a local
company, Erich (25) a toy designer for Mattel and Elizabeth (22) finishing
her last year at SDSU and a future veterinarian.

within Poway
Unified School District.
I have a M.Ed. in Reading
and a Language Arts Specialist Credential. My husband, Brad, two
sons, Caleb & Joshua, and I love to spend time camping, skiing, and

I have
been teaching for 19 years--all in Poway.
I came to Creekside when it opened and have loved
every minute of being here! Our community of students, parents, and
staff is unmatched anywhere. My favorite grades to teach are first
and second and I love "looping" with my students. Outside
of school, I like to read, quilt, knit, scrapbook and my newest
adventure--making my own greeting cards!
|
I live in Carmel Mt.
Ranch with my husband and 3 sons’ ages 17, 14 and 7. I've spent all
21 years of my teaching career in P.U.S.D. teaching grades K, 1, 2, and 3.
I love to loop from 1st to 2nd grade.
Six, seven and eight year olds are
my all time favorite little people.
|
I have been teaching
for 16 years in the district. Love working with the kids and parents
at Creekside. Outside school, I have a
wonderful family I enjoy spending time with. My two kids keep me
smiling and forever busy. My passions are my family, teaching,
competing in triathlons, reading, and soaking up the sun!

1-2, straight first and straight second here at Creekside.
I love to travel with my husband!
|
This
will be my tenth year teaching. I taught for three years in the Bay
Area and five years at Garden Road Elementary. I live in Ramona with
my husband (who is also a teacher in PUSD), my 4 year old son, Landon, my
two and a half year old daughter, Ryen and my
dog, Samson. You can usually find us playing outside enjoying the

I have taught elementary school for over 30 years, and
have had the fun of teaching every grade from K-5. I attended Occidental
College, where I was a piano
major. I enjoy reading, my garden, and playing golf at every
opportunity with my husband Jerry. Our two grown sons live in
southern California,
so we get to be together often.
|
I have been teaching for many years, and I feel lucky to
be a Creekside teacher. When I am not at
school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Brian and two children, Bradi 3, and Beckett 2. I also like running,
playing soccer, and being outdoors.
|
I was always very shy growing up, but when I was
selected for the May 1995 issue of GQ I knew I had made it. After several
years in Hollywood
I decided enough is enough and it was time to hang out with the common
folk. So here I am living the humble life of a teacher. Oh, no autographs please.

This is my 9th year teaching
grades 2 through 5, with the majority of my time spent teaching 3rd
graders. I've taught in Orange
County
and have been enjoying my time here at Creekside
since 2003. I was born and raised in
San Diego and have always loved going to
the beach and bike riding along the boardwalk. Having fun in the sun

Hello
Geckos! I am proud to say I have been teaching for 16 years in California
public schools. Teaching in the primary grades is my favorite, especially
the smart third graders found here at Creekside. Outside of school, I spend
my time supporting my two boys, Zach (15) and Davis (11), on the soccer
field, basketball court, and the baseball diamond. My husband Rod is often
found coaching one of their teams. As a family, we enjoy hiking the trails
and mountains in Ramona and live in the beautiful Mt. Woodson community. I
also enjoy reading, summer beach days, and trying out my new golf swing

Hello Geckos!
Prior to teaching Poway fourth graders at Shoal Creek last year I taught
fourth and fifth grade students in sunny southern

things I like to do for fun are swimming, watching movies, chatting with
friends and reading.

Originally,
I hail from Ohio, but I've been in the San Diego area for sixteen
years. Currently, I live in Rancho Bernardo with my wonderful husband
and two sons (12 and 13 years old). I was a stay-at-home mom for
several years, ran a home day care, and returned to school for a teaching
credential and masters in my 30's...Better late than never. :)
Teaching is my love and passion, and I can't wait to meet your
kiddos!
|
During
the upcoming school year I'll be teaching a 4/5 combo class.
This will be my fourth year at Creekside,
but my 7th year teaching. I was born in San Diego,
but have lived all over the country, from California
to Massachusetts to
Florida! My free time is
generally spent outdoors or with my dog, Cooper.
|
I teach fifth grade and I have
also taught 2, 3, and a 4/5 combo in the last nine years. This
Boston girl has moved around a lot so I have taught in
many different places such as Pasadena,
Monterey, Ft.
Lauderdale, and
Miami. My husband and I have
finally settled down and are now anxiously awaiting the arrival of our
first child in the fall!
