Before School Program
The BHMS Before School Program runs from 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM daily.  All students on campus prior to 8:00 AM must report to the Before School Program. 

Before School locations and hours:
·         Gym – open from 7:00 – 8:00 (7:00 – 9:00 on collaboration days)
·         Bobcat Center – open from 7:00 – 8:25
·         Library – open from 7:30 – 8:25 (8:00 – 9:15 on collaboration days)
.        Computer Lab – open from 7:15 – 8:15 Tuesdays and Thursdays

Current Activities Calendar

Our program is a safe, supervised, and fun place for the students of BHMS to attend.  We are currently serving the needs of over 180 students per day. Applications are available in the school office.  (top)

AVID (top) is specifically designed for those who are under-represented in colleges and universities, all the while having academic potential to be successful in college when they attend.  For more information, click here.

CJSF-Honor Society: (top) The California Junior Scholarship Federation is an on-campus organization that promotes high standards of scholarship, service, and citizenship in middle school students. For more information, click here.

As described by the U.S. Office of Education in 1972, "Gifted and talented children are those identified by professionally qualified persons who by virtue of outstanding abilities are capable of high performance.  These are children who require differentiated educational programs and/or services beyond those normally provided by the regular school program in order to realize areas of their contribution to self and society."
