CAFETERIA

There are two (2) basic options for middle school lunch.  A full lunch costs $2.50/$2.25*, and the menu is posted on campus and in the classrooms.  If a full lunch is not what you're looking for, all menu items can be purchased individually, and these prices are posted in the lunch area.  Extensive information about the food and nutrition program, including a food survey, is available at:

Don't let your child go hungry--Prepaying for lunches for the entire school year is the ultimate in convenience for busy parents.  Write one check for the complete school year, which eliminates the daily search for meal money.  Weekly, monthly, and quarterly prepayments are also available.  Envelopes for this purpose are available in the administration office.  Would you prefer to pay online for your student's food purchases?

*Beginning July 1, 2005, school meal prices increased in all District schools.  Higher meal prices are needed to compensate for increases in food, labor, supply, energy, and other overhead costs.

Students who qualify for free and reduced meal prices will not be affected by the meal price increases.  Based on the percentage of free and reduced price students enrolled, Poway's meal prices are still among the lowest in the County.
