Full Day Kindergarten 2008-2009
Adobe Bluffs
elementary school will implement full day kindergarten beginning
in the August 08-09. Your student will have the same daily
schedule as all other students. That is 7:45-2:05 each day, with
the exception of our early release Thursday, when the school day
ends at 12:25
Academic expectations have increased over the years and caused
more of the traditional first grade curriculum to be added to
the kindergarten year. The extended day, will allow students
more time to develop academic skills as well as the social,
emotional, and physical skills needed for developing young
people. We are excited about this opportunity and as a school
district, we believe adding a full-day kindergarten program will
further enhance your young student’s preparation for long-term
success in school.

Diego Area Schools Named Finalists in Fitness Competition
Adobe Bluffs is a finalist for the 2008 Governor’s Challenge
Competition. We had 100% participation and are in the running
for the big prizes
